Fluorite was on just another easy routine inspection on an old abandoned gem temple. Just the same old looking around, making sure nothing was damaged in anyway, or was already damage. No trace of other outside gem forces, just another boring day. Which meant, onto the next temple. Only a few more to do until the day was over with and done. This could not go faster even if time leaped forward.
She placed her hand on the side of the wall and looked around, slowly closing her eyes and concentrating on the vibrations in the building. Nothing, or was it something? She couldn't tell. Maybe if she got a little closer, to where ever it was coming from she could feel it. Fluorite wasn't even sure what "it" exactly was.

Citrine was poking around in a seemingly abandoned gem temple. The silence was rather unnerving. If she moved in, she'd have to hang up a few wind-chimes or some bells. Fill the void somehow. Speaking of bells, there were a few hanging from her belt. She jingled a little with every step. Maybe there were gems nearby, somewhere. She hadn't seen another gem in such a long time.

Where is it? Where is it? Now she would clearly hear a faint noise from somewhere deep in the temple. It better not be a gem monster. Fluorite was not in the mood to deal with one of those right now.
It was getting louder and she was getting faster, practically running now. She skidded around the corner and stood perfectly still. It wasn't a monster.

Citrine stopped walking as soon as she saw the gem in front of her, her eyes widening slightly. Another gem. Could she be from the homeworld? Or was she one of those Kindergarten monstrosities? And if she was from the homeworld, how would she react to learning that Citrine had been on Rose's side? How would she react to her at all. The silence was killing her. Not literally, of course. She might as well say something... "Um, hi..."

"Hello?"
Who is this gem? Fluorite had never seen them before.
"Who are you, what are you doing here?"
Shestepped closer to the gem and was readying herself to retrieve her weapon from her gem just in case this gem was hostile.
"Say something already!"

Citrine stepped back a little, raising her hands to show she wasn't hostile, her bells jingling slightly as she retreated. "I'm Citrine! I was just exploring, but I can leave if you want me to..." She paused, then added, "Are you from the Homeworld?"

"Homeworld? Originally, yes."
Fluorite slowly let her guard down and watched the other gem. Was this gem not from homeworld? She's never even heard of a gem called citrine either.
"Why do you want to know? I haven't been to homeworld in over a thousand years."

"Oh... I was wondering if you could tell me how things were over there, but I guess not." Citrine slowly lowered her hands. So, she wasn't from Kindergarten, then. "Who are you?"

"I don't know. Are you from homeworld?"
Fluorite took a step closer to the gem and tilted her head slightly
"My name is fluorite."

"Yes. But I haven't seen the place in several hundred years." She shrugged. Fluorite was taller than her. A little intimidating. But Citrine didn't back up when she stepped closer. Though, she did shift a little nervously, causing her bells to jingle again, which made her giggle a little nervously.

"I see. What are you doing here? On earth and in this temple. I thought the homeworld's choice was to leave this planet alone."
Fluorite smiled at the other gem when they giggled
"Why do you wear those bells on your person?"

"Oh, I'm not meddling or anything like that. I just wanted to stay, so I did. Earth is very pretty. And they don't have lemons on the Homeworld." Citrine shrugged at her question and smiled at her bells. "I like the sound they make."

"Yes, Earth is very beautiful. It has many wonders that I've yet to discover than being on homeworld. I prefer it much more here, sometimes"
Fluorite tilted her head again in the other direction this time.
"Lemons? Is that one of those sour fruits that humans eat? I don't care for those."

"Yes, they're lovely!" Citrine smiled. "I also like limes, but those aren't quite as good. Do you like any of the earth fruits?"

"I don't particularly have any favorites over anything else. Though, I maybe be fond of what humans call cotton candy. It is really something."
Why are you doing, chit-chatting with this gem.She has more temples to check up on. If Fluorite wanted to finish anytime soon, she best leave now. But it has been a long time since she had seen another gem. It maybe be the last for a long time.
